This is Scilly Billy

Designed in Scilly, locally printed by hand on feel-good fabrics like organic cotton and recycled materials as much as possible. We take our inspiration from the natural environment on these beautiful little islands off the tip of Cornwall.

Our range of T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, Cornish smocks, hats, snoods, tea towels, cushion covers and bags features a variety of unique Scilly designs, you won't find anywhere else. There's something for every member of the family.

As part of our partnership with the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust we have developed a 'Scilly by Nature' range, which includes our Bee Scilly and Blooming Scilly designs. These are printed and embroidered on a range of items such as sweatshirts, vest tops, tees, hoodies and hats. We donate 5% of the purchase price from every item sold from this range to the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust. 

Why did I create Scilly Billy? 

Hi, I'm Steph, and this is me with Gypsy on Par beach. I was very fortunate to live on St Martin's as a child, and understand why people are always drawn back to the Isles of Scilly. After travelling the world and living in New Zealand, I returned home to Scilly and reunited with the Scillonian boy I went to school with, who is now my husband. He is also Scilly Billy's head of logistics and IT. I'm the creative one and he's the tech support - that is when he's not captaining ships around the world (he's been a sailor since leaving school)! 

I understand how once you've experienced the Isles of Scilly, they get into your heart and never leave. I wanted to help you celebrate your own Scilly experiences, joyful times with family and friends. So I created Scilly Billy to embody the charm, fun, characters and natural beauty of these magical little islands.

Our original design was the Scilly Billy goat, who still features on our kids' and unisex/men's tees. Just like every islander has a story, so does every Scilly Billy character.

Our uniquely Scilly designs have since evolved to encompass other aspects of the islands, including their flora and wildlife. A love of nature and animals is close to our hearts, hence Scilly Billy's partnership with the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust.

Shopping

Our shop on St Martin's is open over the visitor season, from April through to October. You'll find us between the Island Hall and the Fire Station (see map).
